OK folks, I’ve been off the air with my blog, learning how to do twitter – which actually does prove that old dogs CAN be taught new tricks.
So I’m back with the blog, as we embark on a tour of the USA and Canada to promote our new season’s wines from Yalumba. Yesterday we did our icon tasting in San Francisco, at the fabulous Hakkasan. It was a ‘hands across the Tasman’ collaboration thing, with the new winery thats just come into the same stable that looks after us in the USA – Two Paddocks from the Central Otago region of New Zealand – yep, Pinot Noir masters. We also did a Museum Tasting of Signature Cabernet Shiraz back vintages, the first time we’ve opened this old timers in North America. Here’s a few photos from the day, as I’m about to head out the door and down to San Jose to do an event with the Wine Affairs winebar.
