11.04am, waiting for the departure gate number, Terminal 2 , Dublin Airport, Ireland
The airport was thundering with cheering Irish travelers just now as they watched the Irish get up well over the Italians in the World Cup Rugby. This is the first ever time that they’ve won their pool with us in it, so no matter what happens from here on in, every bloke in that side will come home a living legend!
But I just want to share this with you as the good karma seems to keep rolling along on is tour – NOT that I want to tempt fate now. I still need to get across to London in one piece today.
Here folks is my winning ticket – your man Brian O Driscoll WAS the first try scorer in the match! So to all those blokes in the betting shop yesterday and O Donahues bar last night, you should have listened when I said he was overdue for a try! Ah well, let’s hope The Green Machine goes all the way. If the Wallabies don’t get to the final, I hope it’s the Irish against the All Blacks.
