Wow! Where did the last three days go! Glad to be back home in The Barossa, even if it is seriously winter – rainy days, rainy nights, and two quilts and a blanket on the bed! We have all the S Smith & Son Australian sales force having their conference here at the winery for the next couple of days, so will put up some photos of those activities – including the main event for this afternoon across in the cooperage – The Museum Tasting.
So hang in there folks as I get myself plugged back into a proper routine. I still have heaps to catch up on from the road – in New South Wales and The Melbourne good Food & Wine Show.
For the moment – here’s your Masterchef boys having a top time signing books in the Oxford Landing Boatshed & Dining Room, and one of the food doubles put on for the consumer wine and food matching dinner – ‘Kingfish Carpaccio’ (that was sitting on shaved pears!) from chef Marion Grasby on the left, and ‘Winter Beet Salad’ from chef Poh Ling Yow on the right – served with Oxford Landing 2010 Sauvignon Blanc and 2010 Pinot Grigio respectively.
