Last day of the Vintage Festival

11.17am, Sunday 1st may, Angaston Main Street
It’s a bit overcast and dismal today – and I’m a bit disappointed. I just got back from down at Rowland Flat where the Aero Club is set up, and the Barossa Air Show has been cancelled because of the weather. It was the last big event for the Festival, although the local long lunches will be in full swing in the next hour or so – most notably with The Black Queen over at Peter Lehmanns. What we’ve missed out on is the dashing young (yes-  very good looking!) Matt Hall, the only Australian pilot to compete in the Red Bull Air Race circuit. So let’s hope they bring him back next year.

Still haven’t crossed paths with anyone from work yet, so not sure how we went in the float parade yesterday, but I’m sure I’ll catch up with all of that tomorrow.
