I thought it would be a good idea to post this picture of the Riesling that has just come in from Eden Valley. These are very typical small, tight bunches showing those “spots” or lenticels on the berries that are the giveaway character for riesling.

Off home now – too bad we don’t have one of those all-night, old-fashioned diners, because with the cold night out there, I’ve just had the strangest craving for a piece of hot apricot crumble and a cup of tea. See, I am getting old!
